My Life

Hello everyone.
I live in West Seneca, NY (a suburb of Buffalo) and have lived here all of my life. I really need to get out more often. I am married to a lovely and talented woman named Amy and we have three better than average children (I'd say wonderful, but I do not want to start our relationship based on a lie). They are actually pretty good kids. My wife has a dog, cat and fish, and my kids have rabbits and hermit crabs.

This  is my 7th course in the Insurance Management program at BU and have enjoyed most of my experience. Some of the courses were somewhat disappointing based on my expectations, but that is probably my fault. Overall it has been a great experience and I look forward to graduating in May.
If anyone else is graduating, I hope to see you in Boston. It'll be my first trip there and I look forward to visiting the many historically significant sites. If anyone has advice on what Amy and I should do while in town, please share. I would also like some restaurant suggestions.

I am currently a personal lines product specialist at Merchants Insurance Group. This means I am responsible for managing the profitability of our homeowners, auto and umbrella products. Yes, I am the one who decides how much you should pay and what is covered in your policy. In addition to work, I am the Vice President of the Buffalo Chapter of the CPCU Society. For those who may not know, CPCU stands for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and is recognized as the premier designation in property and casualty insurance.

My hobbies include sports (as a participant and spectator), baseball being my favorite, hiking, camping and fishing.  I also enjoy spending time with Amy without the children.

  1. Hello Ron,

It's funny how pets and children can really complete a persons life. I have lots of relatives in the Utica area but I've never been there myself. Your website uses calming natural colers which I like. If I put on my reading glasses it does seem to help focus the background.

  2. P.S. Ron,

I forgot to edit. I always realize this after the post goes up. i.e. colers(sic)to colors etc.
